At Rasch Aircargo GmbH, we specialise in installing ULDs (Unit Load Devices) for all types of dangerous goods, including CAOs. The installation of DGRs in ULDs is a demanding task that requires a great deal of expertise and care. We have certified employees who have received appropriate training for handling dangerous goods. We check which classes of dangerous goods may be loaded together and which may not.
After we have checked the tabular loadability, we select the appropriate ULDs for the dangerous goods. We pay attention to the dimensions, weight, stability and temperature resistance of the ULDs. We also ensure that the ULDs are clean, dry and free from damage.
The ULDs are labelled with the appropriate dangerous goods labels, which indicate the class, UN number, technical name and quantity of the dangerous goods, and when building the ULDs, our palletisers ensure that the dangerous goods are loaded in such a way that they are protected against damage, leakage and unwanted release.
The hazardous goods are then stowed in the ULDs in such a way that they cannot slip, fall over or be damaged. The ULDs are then secured with suitable securing devices, such as fittings, nets or straps.
We check your freight for damage, completeness, safety and quality in accordance with airline and official requirements and, if necessary, carry out additional measures such as X-rays or scanning.
